MacPhails have unfaillingly given the College reliable service over the years. Their drivers are courteous and helpful as well as being highly competent. MacPhails Coaches battled through one of the severest winters on record to bring our pupils safely back to glasgow from far flung places such as Perthshire and Durham, their drivers uncomplainingly accepting the rescheduled times and routes. Just wanted to commend the excellent driver Alan Baillie who took us to the Rhine with Caledonian Travel.
To me a driver is a difference maker, one way or the other. Our family cannot say enough about our trip experience with driver Alex P. at the wheel. He was very personable and friendly as well as very knowledgeable about his own country (Scotland) as well as Ireland. The bus itself (Mercedes) was quite nice and comfortable. All in all MacPhails and Alex get an A+ from the Howard Family (North Carolina, Virginia, Florida).
just got done with a 2 week vacation to Scotland and Ireland. Alex Patterson was our bus driver and made the trip very delightful. His knowledge was very helpful on many occasions
